MISSING PROTECTOR STRATEGY (MPS)
Brief Overview
Dan Korem, author of, Suburban Gangs—The Affluent Rebels, identified and developed a strategy that stops many at-risk behaviors for at-risk youths, including:


    Gang recruitment & Assaults      Suicide        Chronic drug use       
    Teen Pregnancy                       Truancy       Poor classroom performance


In virtually every school that applies this strategy, the above at-risk behaviors for at-risk youths who receive a "Protector" stops. Typically, if 100 youths are provided Protectors, only 5% will display any of the at-risk behaviors above. For more on the MPS, please see the PDF and video presentations below.
